About me

My fitness journey began while going through a difficult time in life, dealing with grief, depression and anxiety. With the guidance of an amazing mentor, strength training found me, and for the first time in my life, I was stronger, happier, and more confident.

Truly realizing that a lifestyle incorporating exercise and healthy habits can have outstanding effects on mental well-being, I decided to dedicate myself to learning how to share this experience with others that are seeking a happier, healthier life.

After many years working as a culinary professional with fitness as an outlet and primary interest, I began merging my knowledge of cooking and nutrition with my passion for exercise science.

Since becoming a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, I haven’t looked back. Bringing my knowledge and experience to help people reach their full potential is a true joy. I still enjoy cooking of course, and love giving out cooking tips and advice in abundance!

I live in Kansas City, MO with my wife and two rascal cats. When I’m not training or cooking I enjoy pickleball, fishing, and gaming.
